ABOUT US

Bridges to India is a student- led global services organization comprised of high school students from the Riverdale School District in Portland, Oregon. For the last four years, they have developed community service projects, raised the funds to implement them, and traveled to Kerala on the southwest coast of India to enhance the quality of life improvements chartered by Hope Charities, Inc.

The mission of Hope Charities, Inc. is to serve the needy and working poor of small villages in Southern India in the form of medical, psycho social, and financial help.

Hope Charities was started over 6 years ago by Dr. Daisy Kuchinad and has provided medical services to over 500 hundred families, scholarships for education, skill training for women, a community library, and also ESL education.
